As the business grew, the challenge was balancing speed and efficiency with the level of thoughtful, polished design clients expected. The design team needed a consistent creative standard, efficient ways to approach recurring design challenges, and strong collaboration with development to ensure that designs translated successfully into the final digital experience.
Dr. Renato Saltz, owner of Salz Plastic Surgery and client of MyAdvice is also the founder of the Image Reborn Foundation. Image Reborn Foundation’s mission is to provide no-cost healing retreats to women diagnosed with breast cancer and to assist them in living rich and fulfilling lives. I was tasked with refreshing the design in 2019.
MyAdvice Senior VP of Engineering created a simple do-it-yourself website building application for clients who wanted a simple site. I was asked to design the UI for what was called the "Catalyst Website". Using the branding guidelines at the time, I created a series of screens for a five step process that a client would work through to get a site up and running quickly. The Catalyst website was a successful entry level featured product for several years and has now morphed into an AI assisted product.

By combining hands-on design with creative leadership, I helped establish a more consistent, scalable approach to digital design at MyAdvice. Design standards, reusable systems, collaborative workflows, and rigorous quality control allowed the team to maintain a high level of creative quality while working across a large volume of projects. In one major push, I helped lead the internal and offshore design teams in clearing a backlog of more than 300 websites in less than six months—demonstrating that thoughtful design systems and strong creative processes can improve both efficiency and the quality of the customer experience.
